Will you have a cuppa? Ah go on.
G’wan g’wan g’wan g’wan g’wan.

The humble cupán tae. A staple in every Irish home. And yet, what do we really know about this drink that we consume on a daily basis?

When it comes to coffee, it has become standard to seek out excellence and quality from the farmer, to the roaster to the barista. But what of tea? Can we create the same standards around provenance, processing and brewing?

This tea-tasting introduces and explores the subtleties and flavours that the Camellia Sinensis plant offers across a variety of terroirs, processing methods, and brewing techniques.

Learn the difference between an assam and a darjeeling, a first flush and second flush, a sencha and a matcha….
and of course taste all of these as we go along with some paired treats and nibbles.

This event will be presented in conjunction with Niall Wynn of Proper Order Coffee Co.
